That is, dineacrossamerica.com will be the first website that exists to promote, protect and propagate the approximately 150,000 independent restaurants in the United States. The website was built to facilitate communications between all the facets of the industry, from the consumer to the restaurant operator to the supplier to the manufacturer.

We forsee the online alliance giving the independent operator the ability to purchase goods and services from suppliers at contract prices not even attained buy the largest chains. Suppliers that have been contacted who are willing to negotiate prices include; food manufacturers, utility suppliers, paper manufacturers, Internet suppliers, equipment parts suppliers, insurance carriers, and credit card processors.

The website would also bring to the independent restaurant operator a new and effective way to communicate directly with their customers. We have developed ways to entice people to the website and register with the host so as to partake in giveaways and premiums. This will give us the ability to produce mailing lists that can be used to promote members. We will also be able to collect information on trends and develop demographics for use by our members.
